Hero Academy III: Age 6 – 12 (75 minutes)
Improve strength, flexibility and coordination in an inclusive and fun-filled environment! In this 75-minute class, Superheroes will work through the Blue, Turquoise and Silver badges of CanGym’s skill development and evaluation program. Building upon the foundational skills learned at previous levels, gymnasts will complete more complex locomotion as they learn advanced skills such as assisted forward handsprings. Your Superhero will also increase their strength and flexibility with holds and movements completed on various apparatuses including the floor, vault, beam and more. Campia’s Hero Academy III is a recreational gymnastics class grounded in Gymnastics Canada’s three pillars of Fun, Fitness and Fundamentals.
This class is designed for returning gymnasts ages 6 – 12 years old. Programming is paced appropriately for the development of each gymnast and progress reports will be distributed at the end of each session to monitor, encourage and celebrate their progress!
